World Update 2007
By Will Arntz

Since the U.S. release of What the BLEEP in the United States in 2004, the film has been slowly and relentlessly working its way around the globe. Our foreign sales agent - Richard Guardian of Lightning Entertainment - has been patiently looking for, and finding the right distributors to release a film that still fits in none of the normal release scenarios.

New science of consciousness: Part one

by Laurie Nadel, Ph.D.

The term "new science" was first introduced in 1964 by the late Nobel neuroscientist Dr. Roger Sperry (1913 - 1994). It is based on the premise that your consciousness - your point of focus which can be compared to a cursor on your computer screen - can create physical effects in your brain as well as the other way around.

New map of the Milky Way shows our galaxy to be a cannibal

Ed Note: The original article, "We are not from here," that was sent out in the Oct. 6th Herald had erroneous material in it, extrapolating the assumption that our sun (and us!) did not originate in the Milky Way Galaxy. This is not congruent with the actual scientific findings. A couple savvy readers pointed out that the article has been, in fact, rejected by the Steven Majewski, U.Va. professor of astronomy who conducted the original study. Here is the original, press release published by the University of Virginia. Many apologies to our readers.

Thousands of stars stripped from the nearby Sagittarius dwarf galaxy are streaming through our vicinity of the Milky Way galaxy, according to a new view of the local universe constructed by a team of astronomers from the University of Virginia and the University of Massachusetts.

Described in the London Observer as "one of the most prolific, as well as brilliant, journalists of our time"

Christopher Hitchens brilliantly documents the ways in which religion is a man-made wish, a cause of dangerous sexual repression, and a distortion of our origins in the cosmos. He frames the argument for a more secular life based on science and reason. Writes New York Times reviewer Michael Kinsley, "God should be flattered: unlike most of those clamoring for his attention, Hitchens treats him like an adult. Click Here

The Meditative Life, by Guy Finley - Modern physicists confirm what the Wise Ones have always known: we live in many worlds at once. We are not meant to dwell in a single dimension of time and space, any more than an eagle is created to fly while holding one of its talons to the ground. "The Meditative Life" offers so much more than just pleasing descriptions of the many, silent, sentient worlds within us; it provides all that we need to know to enter into these invisible realms, and to develop a conscious relationship with them on a moment to moment basis. Running time: Approx. five hours on four CDs. Click here
