The BLEEP European Tour - The Connectivity Hypothesis

By Will Arntz

It all started with the Germans. With the film having done very well in Germany, our distributor there — Udo Grube hooked up with organizers Heiko and Beatrix Rittweger to put on the BLEEP Kongress. They invited me and Fred Alan Wolf to Berlin to give presentations, Q&A's and all the BLEEP conference-type things.

So I got the ticket for Berlin.

Meanwhile I'd been emailing Dr. Ervin Laszlo back and forth for years and hoping to meet him sometime at his villa in Tuscany. (Ervin was not in the films only because I met him afterwards. His writings are amazing — check them out sometime.) It turned out that about the time I was to be in Europe he would be in Italy, and a filmmaker, who I'd been in e-contact with, who was making a film about Dr. L's work was going to be there too. OK — Italy is on.

Vedic architecture – the power of life-giving principles

by Cate Montana

On October 25, 2003, a fire began near the mountain town of Ramona in San Diego County, California. Fueled by acres of dry brush and fanned by strong Santa Ana winds, the Cedar Fire spread rapidly, burning 273,246 acres, destroying 2,232 homes, and killing 14 people. According to Jeff Harter, battalion chief of the California Fire Plan, California Department of Forestry, the speed and ferocity of the blaze "were heart stopping."

Jeanette Worland watched the fire approach across the hills, while her husband, Paul, hosed down the new home he had designed and built according to the principles of Maharishi Vedic Architecture. Pushed by 40 to 60 mph winds, the fire roared up to their home around midnight, then made a sudden 90 degree shift and passed directly outside of the house's Vastu fence. This sudden shift allowed the Worlands to evacuate – and it saved the house and everything in or near it. After shifting the blaze away from the house, minutes later the wind shifted back to its original direction and consumed the acreage directly behind the home.

A different kind of bicycle ride in autumn

by Frosty Wooldridge

One of my favorite bicycle routes in Colorado is riding up Route 36 to the cutoff at the Briarwood Restaurant for a trip along the white water river, through steep-walled canyon terrain, sprinkled with fantastic aspen, cottonwood, pine and colorful undergrowth. All totaled, it's 32 miles.

I've been riding it since 1973 and it never ceases to astound with its beauty in spring, summer and autumn. But this time, the ride proved different. Before the ride I attended a lecture by Dr. Joe Dispenza from the movie "What the Bleep do We Know?" with several friends.
